Being able to see and recognize the “other side of the coin” has been an integral part of my life growing up.
During the past 12 months of my life, I have experienced quite an upheaval in traditional terms in my life.
I’ve attempted to launch a few businesses with no success as of yet, but I continue to keep pushing and pivoting until I can hone in on what specifically works for me.
My whole life I’ve been what’s called a quick starter.
Going from idea to creation to execution is the easy part for me.
The hard part is staying committed and seeing it through to completion.
My quick starter mentality has served me very well in some instances and very badly in others.
I have learned from all of the experiences, but I get to choose now to slow down enough to recognize if it’s actually time to pivot or if it’s time to keep pushing forward.
I realize that I am constantly coming up with new ideas and I want to launch every one of them.
I know that won’t be possible, so I’m developing my skill set in being able to recognize which ones are viable in today’s market and which ones will not be.
Learning from the great Steve Jobs, learning to say NO to many good ideas and learn to spot and recognize the YES to the great idea.
There in lies the conundrum…
Personally, I am currently working on a GREAT idea and will continue to push forward until it is no longer working optimally for me.
I am excited to see where the next 12 months takes me.
Everyday is a new canvas that I get to choose how to paint…
