100 Days of Self-Discovery – Day 6 – My Version of Church – 3 Minute Read

As I am laying by the pool, listening to my audiobook and enjoying the warm weather, I catch myself thinking about how lucky I am.

I am so grateful and blessed to live in a such a beautiful place in Southern California.

I’m surrounded by palm trees, the beach is a stone’s throw away, and the weather is absolutely perfect all year long.

I’m blessed to have such a wonderful partner in crime by my side. Julie understands me, puts up with my quirks and idiosyncrasies, and basically is living with a crazy person 🙂

Most people attend one form of church or another on Sunday. I personally don’t see any problem with that if that is what you feel you need to get closer to God.

For me, getting closer to God means living a fulfilling and meaningful life.

It means that I improve myself every day and improve the lives of those around me every day.

It means that I challenge myself and those around me to be the best versions of themselves.

My life is perfect for me.

My life is unfolding in such a beautiful and unique manner, I am constantly in awe of how blessed I am each day.

Does that mean I don’t have struggles? Of course not. I’m human. I just choose to look at the bright side of every situation and realize that whatever happens, it is not the end of the world.

I am a better person today than I was yesterday. I am constantly learning and improving.

And that is the best part of life… Enjoying the journey.
